A couple of years ago there was some information that some British Columbia marijuana grow op operators wanted to go down to Mexico, get some contacts and break into the Mexican cartel business. The RCMP advice to them was make sure their will, life insurance and funeral plans were up to date.

I thought it was pretty valid advice considering the cartels fearsome reputation.
