It used to mean something different in my mind, before the US decided to embrace fascism
Somehow when they came up with the phrase "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave" I don't think they were referring to the immense courage required to put children in cages.
Honestly if you support that sort of policy, period, then you are merely supporting cruelty for the sake of cruelty. Its just political theatre and the orange muppet knows it. Its just sad to see how many people are falling for it, and terrifying to think where this could lead...and it could lead to deaths.
After all the media cycle does eventually move on to other stories and once out of sight, out of mind who is to say they don't end up disappearing one way or another?
