[Error: unknown template qotd]When I was eating in a small restaurant in Tiruchi a coworker of mine was asked by the waiter if I was Chinese. It took him so much by surprise that the only answer he could think of that would make sense was to just say that I was an American.

I just took it as a message of how far off the beaten path I was, and rolled with it. That's how you get good stories to tell, right?
