A reminder to the driver who almost hit me, an apology to them, and a question for the universe

Roads are for cars. Sidewalks are for pedestrians. When you forget this and run pedestrians off the sidewalk from behind the pedestrians tend to get a little mad at you.

And yes, I do apologize for asking if you were stupid. It was a waste of both your time and mine to require you to state the obvious. Its not like you were going to learn from the experience.

And finally, why would somebody drive on the sidewalk to get six feet closer to the door they wanted to walk through? The parking spot directly in front of the door, the one that's not on the sidewalk, was open. My head hurts trying to comprehend this thought process.

If it's of any consolation, your words might have stung the nerk. It's a small price for him/her to pay, having driven so dangerously.

Stupid is as stupid does. A woman drove on a sidewalk to avoid a school bus picking up a disabled student. Doesn't get more stupid than that.
