Tylenol, Nana Mouskouri and memories of elementary school drug dealers. Odd combo, but it works.

I have acetaminphen! Yay!

God, you know you're old and boring when a bottle of Tylenol is your idea of chemically fueled fun. Not that I was ever into that nonsense, mind you.*

Anyway, on to more of the Twelve Days of Christmas Music, with two songs that have been on our family's Christmas rotation so long I can't remember a Christmas without them. So without further ado here is the one and only Nana Mouskouri. Enjoy!

And for those who have never been fortunate to hear the best version of "Ave Maria" ever:

Have a great night everyone!

*A pragmatic reason I never tried drugs was the fact the kids I suspected of dealing were always talking about beating me into a wheelchair. Only an idiot buys poison from an enemy.

Nana Mouskouri used to have TV shows on the BBC in England in the 'seventies, that my mum would watch. Greek music on mainstream TV, who'd have thought it? I found some of it quite palatable.

Since I honestly can't remember a Christmas where these songs weren't played I think both of them date from that time period. Its possible she may have done either of these then.

When I was in India I found some interesting Nana Mouskouri CDs that I picked up for Mom. It definately is very palatable stuff.
