That is true. One never knows how its all going to go. Eventually my main axe will probably need a new bridge assembly due to all the corrosion my sweat has wrought on the low E and A string saddles. If I do then the zinc block will get upgraded to something nicer like steel or brass. If I go that route then it might be worth discussing pickup ideas.
