It's actually not very funny at all but the images of Montreal streets being turned into a raging whitewater river are definitely impressive. I'm glad nobody appears to have been killed but the property damage bill from that is going to be something else. All that water freezing in the street and in basements...

I definitely would not want to be the construction company that cut that water main though.

I found this on the BBC's website and thought the final quote to be rather poetic and beautiful:
