I still say India beats both Canada & the US in terms of audience participation when it comes to fireworks* but America really knows how to bring the noise every July 4th.  I felt some of those blasts in my core.

*Chennai during Diwali looked like CNN's footage of Baghdad on the first night of Desert Storm. Supposedly some flights have to change their approaches on those nights.
