To the person you overheard George, tell them not to worry. Canada is NOT going to break away from the United States, at least not until Yellowstone erupts and covers North America in molten lava and hot, choking volcanic ash. They have no need to worry about us becoming the separate country we already are so they can just sit back and get ready to enjoy the mass extinction of the human race.

Lol! The only thing that might cause Canada and the US to break up would be a hockey game. ;-)

Nearly happened in 1996 when you beat us in the World Cup of Hockey finals. Be proud of that achievement. Prior to that most Canadians saw the US team as the practice squad we'd beat up to get in shape for the Russians. After that we had to start taking the US seriously on their own merits and we became better for it.

Some numbnut on Fox recently advocated profiling, citing how successfully it worked with the post WWII Japanese internment camps.

I know Mr. Takei will have something to say about that!
