So work is done and my weekend is here so how do I feel like celebrating? By firing up the computer to watch some Black Friday Fight videos!

I mean seriously where else, other than the running of the bulls in Spain, can one watch idiots subject themselves to the type of trampling injuries one usually associates with panicked crowds and not feel guilty about it? If these people want to camp out in the cold for hours for the priviledge of  being beaten, trampled, tased, punched, stabbed, shot, indebted and otherwise compromised then the least I can do is dress up in a toga and be entertained by their suffering.

What?  I look good in a toga and you know the Romans would be LOVING this. ;-)

I will just point out it's almost always in New Jersey where the craziest videos come from.

I'll take your word for it since most videos rarely have a location stamp on them. I will say though that every year its getting harder to tell if I'm watching Black Friday shopping, footage from a prison riot, or deleted scenes from "The Walking Dead". Its hard to tell sometimes, especially since they all involved people in uniforms running for their lives from dangerously violent individuals.

One of my favorites since it shows how far society has fallen in just a generation.

The way you know it's not cutting room floor stuff for Walking Dead is that the zombies move too fast. It's more World War Z.

I saw that one but the odd thing is I was in our local mall on Friday and it was more 1983. That being said it is Canada so our Thanksgiving is a month earlier. Maybe that has something to do with it.

The one group of people I feel sorry for in all this are the staff that have to survive that day. They really do deserve hazard pay for those crowds.

I like the way your mind works...

Thank you! Great minds do think alike.

Although to be far I do feel incredibly sorry for those poor minimum wage workers who get to come in on Thanksgiving to get ready for a potentially life altering riot fueled entirely by needless corporate greed. They really don't get paid nearly enough to be expected to work in a situation that would be called a riot on any other day.

Yes, public contact jobs, especially retail jobs, suck pond scum.
