Fireworks and an impromptu bar crawl

First off Happy Fourth of July to my southern neighbours. As always you put on a pretty good fireworks display. I know the adorable three year old pyromaniac sitting in front of me with his family had a great time going berserk with joy over the grand finale. :-)

Sadly my knee isn't getting much better and crapped out a bit while walking home, so much so I had to get off it for a few minutes. Thankfully it went right in front of the local bars so I got to spend a few minutes enjoying a Pepsi while enjoying a tight little band for a couple of numbers. It didn't do much to make my knee feel better but it was a better way to let it calm down than sitting on a park bench for a few minutes.

Oh well, c'est la vie.
