Thanks to his stupidity he's helped kill seven UN aid workers.

Congratulations Terry! Despite the requests of many people, all of whom are much smarter than you, you still went ahead with your ridiculously dangerous Koran burning. Because of this US, NATO, and UN troops, aid workers, and really anyone unfortunate enough to get caught in a protest, will have a much harder time doing their job.

So, are the deaths worth it, Terry?

Pathetic, isn't it?

But then again, as someone commented earlier, which is worse, Terry Jones or the protesters who basically helped to validate his claims?

Way too pathetic. I think this guy needs a tour in Afghanistan to really see why doing the dumb stuff he does endangers Westerners.

As too who is worse, well I'm going to say he is, if only because he had the advantage of knowing full well what would likely happen if he did this. Yes, killing anyone over a book is certainly primitive and barbaric but he knew they would likely do this, while the average Afghan probably doesn't know much of anything about Western ideals on free speech and expression.

Unfortunately, contrary to some people's opinion free speech really isn't free. There are always consequences and unfortunately they were paid by people who had nothing to do with his Koran BBQ. I just wish he and others who are considering doing these needlessly provocative acts would get it before more people pay for their right to "free speech" with their lives.

You know, I wonder if a lawsuit could come from this?

A lawsuit - oh, now there's a thought! Because lawsuits are thrown around in this country almost as much as hateful speech is.

A wrongful death suit might be just the thing to make people think before they needlessly kick hornet nests.

Honestly, I don't believe it will make anyone think before they do something this stupid. The word "think" is not part of their vocabulary.

But a lawsuit would still be a fantastic idea.

The really scary thought is that this is just the response this idiot and people like him wanted.
Look, look they barbarian heathens, they must but eliminated from the face of the planet... starting with the peaceful bloke round the corner.

Right wing Christians scare me, as do crazy suicide bombers.

This is a great example of why I'm "respectful, but wary" when it comes to religion. I personally don't care if he thinks the Koran is Satan's operating manual, what I care about is people getting hurt, something "free speech" doesn't allow you to hide away from.

I just wish people, on all sides of this issue, would just settle down and try to look at things from the other side. It would probably cause a lot less bloodshed if that happened.
