snowywolfowlToday Jack Layton, Canada's Leader of the Official Opposition, passed away after a second battle with cancer. He was 61.

It's some pretty inspirational reading. I rather like to think I might have this chiselled on my own headstone when my time comes:
"My friends, love is better than anger.
Hope is better than fear.
Optimism is better than despair.
So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic.
And we'll change the world."
