For anyone who's curious the earthquake in Virginia was felt in places like Fredricton in New Brunswick, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto and even in Sudbury, Ontario. There were also some people who reported feeling it in Sault Ste. Marie, which is about 300 km further west.


Sudbury?!? That's north of Lake Huron. I know I wouldn't want to be in the mines hauling out nickel and feeling the ground shake, even a tiny amount.
