It's pronounced "Can-a-da". We do not pronounce it "Can-eh-dee-ah". I have no issues when recording artists or comedians, or people who honestly don't know pronounce it that way but you're a news media organization. If you say "that's how they pronounce it" and I know its wrong, it just provides me with a good reason to doubt your journalistic accuracy with other stories.

Date: 2013-08-25 12:23 am (UTC)It's bad enough that some news outlets are about sensationalism and faux conflict and laziness, but when you add news outlets that are all about spin and propaganda, it just makes for actual conflict based on false extremes.
You can find actual journalism, but it's not found by turning on the 6:00 news. Unfortunately, most people either don't care or are too busy trying to live their lives to look for it.
