I disagree. For anyone stranded with you, who'd have predictably chosen a guitar, ipod, wardrobe, doggy, makeup kit, etc, it would be a blessing. Who wants to be stranded anywhere? Good thinking, that man.

Thanks! I don't actually even own one but we were given a crash course in how to use them in college. They're great for getting plucked out of the deep desert or middle of the ocean, but they're also heavy and not something you want to have right next to you when in operation. Apparently the electromagnetic energy they give off is a tad harmful over long periods. :-)
