An announcement for next year

Next year I will have an air conditioner. I'm sick of  my apartment feeling like Vishak-a-freakin-Putnum. Honestly how bad is it when I'm comparing Canada to the most brutal humidity I've ever experienced?

Sorry for the stupid question... but what is a "Vishak" and what is a "Putnum"?;)

Don't worry! It's not a stupid question at all, its actually a very good one. I lived for three months in the Indian city of Visakhapatnam (also known as Vizag). It's an interesting city known for ridiculously hot weather and even hotter food. The food was so hot my coworkers from Mumbai couldn't eat it either.

I just said "freakin" instead a different f-word because I didn't want to swear in my post. ;-)

Wow, 3 months in India, that sounds very interesting!

I just spent about 3 months in Vizag. I was in Mumbai and Chennai for an additional 2 years. It was pretty interesting though, since its very different from Canada.

If you ever get a chance to go it is worth it, especially if you like art.
